Nursing Assistant Opportunity
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Nursing Assistants (NA). As a NA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents during their scheduled work period. Your primary responsibilities will include providing assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents. You will also assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, and document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements:
We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care and service to our residents. A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) is preferred, but not required. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required.
