**Delivering Exceptional Resident Care**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. In this role, you will serve as a caregiver to seniors, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
This position requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of others. As a member of our nursing team, you will be expected to follow infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use.
The Nursing Assistant plays a critical role in our long-term care team, providing essential support to residents with their daily needs. This includes bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
You will also be responsible for assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate. Additionally, you will aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures if needed, document resident interactions, and communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. A minimum age of 16 is also required, along with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
