Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide personalized support and assistance to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide basic health care needs including taking vital signs and providing psychosocial support
- Transfers, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
