About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Senior Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
• Provide expert-level nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
• Assist other staff members as needed and support the nursing team in maintaining high accountability
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary
• Communicate changes in resident condition and care-related concerns to the charge nurse
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging residents to participate
Requirements
• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
• Maintain all department-specific required certifications and complete yearly competency testing
