Job Description
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Luverne, MN. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your duties will include:
- Providing basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aiding providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care, preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
