Compassionate Caregivers Wanted
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our nursing team. As a member of our team, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Assist residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
You will also be responsible for completing tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for the residents. This includes assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate.
As a member of our nursing team, you will work closely with registered nurses (RNs) to deliver high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
