Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding. Assist residents with mobility and transfers, using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment. Provide range of motion and passive exercises to residents as needed. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
