About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at St. Johns Skilled Nursing Facility in Kearney, NE. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings.
">Responsibilities:
"- Provide professional nursing care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. ">
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge. ">
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal health and well-being. ">
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. ">
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care and services. ">
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided. ">
Requirements:
"- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. ">
- Currently hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. ">
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications. ">
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements. ">
