Job Overview
Assess, implement, and coordinate care plans for residents in a structured healthcare environment. Ensure medication administration, resident education, and compliance with healthcare regulations while promoting independence and quality of life for seniors. Direct and assist with resident, family, and significant other education in conjunction with the care team. Monitor, evaluate, and trend resident responses utilizing structured care methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Minimum of one to two years of professional nursing experience in a clinic care setting preferred. In-depth knowledge of specialty area preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
