About the Role
The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) is an experienced caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Provides age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of residents as per care plan
- Assists with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Provides psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
