Main Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support
- Assist with meal preparation and dining, creating a positive experience for residents
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
