Job Title: Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows a CNA to travel locally by working in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
About the Role
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care.
- Provide range of motion and passive exercises, and assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for the resident.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Depending on facility, Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment may be required.
