Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing daily living assistance and personal care to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Provide psychosocial support and emotional comfort to residents.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in creating a positive dining experience for residents.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
