Job Summary
A Nursing Assistant Trainee will be enrolled in an immersive learning experience designed to develop the skills and confidence needed to provide exceptional caregiving services. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the trainee will deliver holistic, client-centered care that promotes independence and respect for clients' rights in a safe, caring, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The trainee will collaborate with the care team to document client care when necessary, communicate changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse, and assist with basic health care needs, including activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, obtaining vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and delivering other personal care as assigned.
Requirements
A high school graduate or equivalent (GED) is preferred but not required. The minimum age requirement is 16 years old. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is highly desirable.
