About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at GSS SD Corsica Pleasant View. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Provide assistance with meals and snacks, and create a positive dining experience for residents.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, as needed.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in departmental committees and task forces, as needed.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
