Job Summary
Prepare, assemble, and serve food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors in a designated facility. Adhere to food quality standards, perform cleaning duties, and maintain labeling and storage of food and equipment. Work with internal customers, requiring excellent communication and team work skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook and prepare food according to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation processes.
- Assist with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup.
- Follow production sheets for daily and weekly menus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
- Basic math skills required.
- Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
