Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of clients, patients, and residents by developing and implementing tailored physical therapy programs aimed at improving mobility, alleviating pain, enhancing strength, and preventing deformities. You will conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine individualized treatment plans.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Administering physical therapy interventions using safe and effective techniques.
- Documenting patient information and progress in accordance with departmental standards.
- Educating clients and families about treatment plans and self-exercise routines for at-home care.
- Implementing age-appropriate treatments based on the specific needs of patients.
- Staying current with research and best practices to enhance treatment approaches.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including providers and case managers.
- Supervising assistants and students, providing guidance and educational support.
Flexibility in work schedules is essential as you may serve various patient environments, including post-acute and long-term care settings.
