Nursing Position Description
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This role involves working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care to residents with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in the relevant clinical setting. Possess the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of resident status and provide care needed. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered. Required skills include graduation from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse, associate degree in practical nursing is preferred, and must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
