Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will be enrolled in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care to our residents.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will work closely with a preceptor to develop your skills and confidence as a caregiver.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and transferring
• Document client care and communicate changes in client condition to a licensed nurse
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 16 years old.

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred, but not required.

You should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
