Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This opportunity allows an LPN to work in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for residents in relevant clinical settings.
- Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age and population-specific standards related to physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per care plans.
- Possesses the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of resident status and provide necessary care.
- Demonstrates ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to emergent situations.
Qualifications:
A graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. If position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
