Role Summary: As a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers high-quality care to residents, prioritizing their physical and psychological well-being
- Assists residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helps maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection prevention and control policies
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicates resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
