- Caregiver Role: As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing.
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
