About the Job
This is a part-time position, working 7.5 hours per week on a night shift schedule. Every other weekend shift may be required. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities
Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs. Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Requirements
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
