About This Opportunity: The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant Trainee to join our team. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and confidence in providing high-quality care to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist with basic health care needs and activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, obtaining vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
* Assist clients with meals and snacks and provide water and nutritional supplements as appropriate.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned.
* Document client care when appropriate and communicate changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse.
**Requirements:**
* High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
* Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
