About the Role
We're seeking an experienced LPN to provide nursing care to residents in various locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address. As a Travel LPN, you'll have the opportunity to work in different settings, including long-term care facilities, while receiving competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and performing testing to evaluate resident status.
- Nursing Principles: Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
- Resident Safety: Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents by recognizing problems, recommending solutions, and responding effectively to emergent situations.
- Collaboration: Contribute to the assessment of residents, document resident interactions, and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Orients and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
