We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS NE Albion in Albion, NE. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
About the Role
This role requires a strong knowledge of nursing principles and the ability to demonstrate competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications or treatments as ordered
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Contributes to the assessment of residents
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
