Job Summary
The LPN will travel locally to various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
- Demonstrate competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident as per care plan.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
