Job Summary
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in relevant clinical settings.
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards related to physical and psychosocial needs of residents as per care plans.
- Evaluate data reflective of residents' status and provide the necessary care.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in emergent situations.
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
