Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and support to residents in a long-term care facility.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor resident's condition and report any changes to the charge nurse.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
