About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents of all ages, working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
- If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy as part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the state Board of Nursing is required.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Currently hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the state Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
