Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled individual for light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks completed in a safe, professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Take extra precautions when working in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of reach of children
- Maintain basic mechanical knowledge and demonstrate competence in the use of hand tools, meters, measuring devices, and gauges
- Work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals as needed
- Explain conditions and situations accurately while troubleshooting, focusing on safety, moral, and efficiency
- Adhere to all corporate and facility policies, including dress code and communication standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Trade school or vocational school experience preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes, specifications, and ordinances
