Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse
- Providing assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs
- Offering psycho-social support and other personal care to assigned residents
- Administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice as defined by state regulations
Our MA team members are responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the charge nurse and other healthcare professionals. We require our MAs to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Required qualifications include:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
- Minimum age of 18 preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred
