We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to provide high-quality nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings.
About the Role:
The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This role requires strong knowledge of nursing principles, age-specific standards, and the ability to recognize problems and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Counsels residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
- Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
