Job Summary:
This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally, providing care with competitive pay and flexibility. The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to fill this role.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for residents in various clinical settings.
- Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards related to physical and psychosocial needs.
- Evaluate data reflective of resident status and provide necessary care.
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
Requirements:
- Hold a graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Possess Associate degree in practical nursing or higher.
- In North Dakota, if position requires IV therapy/management skills, graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required.
- Have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
