We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS KS Hutchinson Vlg in Hutchinson, KS. This is a full-time day shift position with 36 hours per week, including every other Saturday and Sunday.
About the Job
- The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting and competency in performing testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status.
- Ensures the health, comfort, and safety of residents by administering medications or treatments as ordered, providing technical support to healthcare professionals, and documenting resident interactions and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
