The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing quality care to seniors. As an RN, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
About the Role:
This part-time RN position requires working night shifts, every third weekend rotation, and 12-hour shifts during the week. You will receive a competitive salary, with opportunities for additional pay perks, including $0.50 per hour for straight night differential and $1.25 per hour for weekend hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families on health-related topics
- Function within the scope of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules
Qualifications:
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Experience in long-term care or gerontology a plus
