Salary and Benefits As a Traveling RN with the Good Samaritan Society, you can expect a competitive salary range of $32-$48 per hour. You will also receive additional pay for mileage reimbursement, float premium, weekend shift differential, and evening/night shift differential. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our team as a Traveling RN. This opportunity allows you to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address. As a Traveling RN, you will be responsible for caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. You will also coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents, and perform other nursing interventions.
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 months of previous experience in Long Term Care, preferably 6 months. You must also hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Additionally, you must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
