About the Role:
The Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents in our long-term care facility. As a member of our nursing team, you will provide personalized support and assistance to help residents maintain their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and dressing/undressing
- Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary needs
- Communicate changes in resident condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
