About the Job:
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows CNAs to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from their home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities
- Obtain and record vital signs
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care
- Assist residents with meals and snacks
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining
Requirements:
A High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
