About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at GSS MN Luverne. In this role, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs
• Assist residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate
• Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
• Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements
• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
