Job Summary:
">A Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
">Key Responsibilities:
">Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate. Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
">Qualifications:
">High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
">Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
