Role Summary
Care for individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds as a Nursing Assistant Trainee at our 5-star facility. Develop your skills in providing holistic client-centered care, promoting independence, and ensuring client rights in a safe, caring, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, and obtaining vital signs
- Deliver age-appropriate care to meet physical, psychological, and restorative needs of clients as defined in the care plan
- Communicate changes in client condition and care-related concerns to a licensed nurse
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, range of motion exercises, and walking using appropriate transfer techniques and equipment
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license
