**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents.
- Assists with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
- Transfers, repositions, and walks residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
- Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicates resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Assists with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
