Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, residents, and families.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
You must also have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
A currently held unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges is required.
