The Clinical Care Leader Role
As a Clinical Care Leader, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team to provide high-quality care to residents. This involves coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, providing education to residents and their families, and triaging care needs. Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills are essential for this role. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, as well as at least two years of long-term care or geriatric nursing experience. You must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience is also preferred but not required. As a Clinical Care Leader, you will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, effective communication, and excellent clinical judgment.
