Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a local nursing home. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered care, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care and achieve positive outcomes.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
