Caregiver Position
We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a Resident Care Specialist. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
