Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN at the Good Samaritan Society, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care to our residents. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, conduct assessments, and provide education to residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess resident needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and managing pain
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and communicate effectively
* Educate residents and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current RN license in good standing
* A degree in nursing from an accredited program
* Experience working with older adults and/or individuals with complex medical needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
