Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will work collaboratively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
- Educate residents and their families on health-related topics
- Participate in charge nurse duties and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel
Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
