**About the Role**
">The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
**Responsibilities**
">- Provide daily living assistance to assigned residents, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Provide range of motion and passive exercises to promote physical well-being.
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for our residents.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, as needed.
**Requirements**
">- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits annually.
